Christmas Service Times

Sunday 21 December 2025 at 5 pm – Christmas Carol Service sung by the Cathedral Choir

Wednesday 24 December 2025 at 4 pm – Crib service for children and the young of heart

Wednesday 24 December 2025 at 11.15 pm – Midnight Mass with music from the Cathedral Choir

Thursday 25 December 2024 at 11 am Sung Eucharist for Christmas Day with more music from the Choir.

Friday 26 morning there will be a Eucharist for the Feast of St Stephen at 9.30 am

Saturday 27 December 2025 there will be a Eucharist for the Feast of St John the Evangelist at 9.30 am

Sunday 28 December 2025 there will be the usual services at 9 am and 11 am but there will be no service at 5 pm.

Monday 29 December 2025 there will be a Eucharist for the Feast of the Holy Innocents at 9.30 am, remembering particularly those who have some sad memories or thoughts at Christmas time and remembering all victims of tyranny

Thursday 1 January 2026 – Eucharist and Blessing of the Diaries for the Feast of the Holy Name

1 February 2026 – Candlemastide Carol Service at the end of the Christmas Season
