Clocks, Annunciation and Holy Week
Dear [First Name]
Just a quick reminder that clocks go forward at 1 am tonight. Tomorrow, we'll be marking the Feast of the Annunciation at the 10.30 am service so don't forget the clocks if you want to make it to church on time. The Rev Canon Audrey O'Brien Stewart will be preaching on the joyful news that a child is to be born to Mary. (So far as I can tell from the Calendar, moving the Annunciation to 26 March doesn't mean that we have to celebrate Christmas on boxing day).
Holy Week is approaching - a life-changing journey at St Mary's. Details of the services are now available on the website: http://thecathedral.org.uk/2017/03/holy-week-st-marys/. Note particularly that this year there will be activities for younger members of the congregation during the three hour devotions on Good Friday.
Also, don't forget that Compline is being sung on Tuesday evenings throughout Lent at 7.15 pm on a Tuesday.
