Anglican Communion & Road Closure (Unrelated!)

St Mary's Cathedral - open, inclusive, welcoming

Dear [First Name]

Many people will have been hearing about issues relating to the Anglican Communion this week and many of the reports have been highly inaccurate.

There will be an additional forum at St Mary's tomorrow (17th January 2016) at 12.15 pm in which the Vice Provost and I will be in conversation about what has happened, whether it matters and where it leaves the Scottish Episcopal Church.

There's a statement from me and some words from the Primus here:
http://www.kaleidoscot.com/scottish-provost-expresses-solidarity-with-american-church-6364

Don't forget also that there's currently no access between Napiershall Street and Great Western Road. There's still plenty of parking including in Napiershall Street itself but don't be surprised to find that there's no turning from one road unto the other at the traffic lights. This situation is expected to last a month and is due to work being done on gas mains.

Best regards

KELVIN

The Very Rev Kelvin Holdsworth
Provost and Rector
