Rough Guide, Ascension Day and Concerts

St Mary's Cathedral - open, inclusive, welcoming

Dear [First Name]

Just to let you know about a few things happening this week at St Mary's.

Firstly there's a Rough Guide to St Mary's on Saturday. This is an introduction to the congregation for anyone who has not been on such a day before. I'll be sharing my vision for St Mary's, there will be a behind the scenes tour of the building and Cedric Blakey will host a session on "Everything you Wanted To Know about St Mary's but Were Afraid To Ask".

The day starts at 10 am and will go on until about 2.30 pm. Booking via the cathedral office 0141 339 6691 or via the website here:

On Thursday evening there's the Ascension Day Choral Eucharist at 7.30 pm. Ascension is always a joyful time and this year the choir are singing music that has never been heard at St Mary's - Jonathan Dove's exciting Missa Brevis.

Also on Thursday, Margaret Ravalde (formerly Marge Walker when she was in St Mary's!) will be giving a concert at 1 pm. More details of the new Thursday lunchtime concert series can be found here:

regards
