The Vice Provost leads this service from the Cathedral. The Provost is the preacher. Shona Maciver leads some of the prayers, Robert Mawditt leads the Intercessions, and Deanna Tyndall reads the Gospel. Frikki Walker plays the piano and Steven McIntyre plays the organ. The Vice Provost sings the mass setting (St Anne’s Mass by James MacMillan), and the music at Communion (‘No wind at the window’ by John Bell) is sung by Christine Walker. Steven McIntyre plays the voluntary at the end of this service, ‘Es ist ein Ros entsprungen’ by Johannes Brahms.
