Worship for Sunday 14 March 2021 takes place online. This consists this week of:
- A video that forms a service of Holy Communion
- A hymn (‘Love Divine, All Loves Excelling’)
- A video for members of the Young Church and their households
The Provost leads this service from the Cathedral. The Vice Provost, the Rev Canon Oliver Brewer-Lennon, is the preacher. Lucy Teo-Winter leads some of the prayers, Taylor Driggers-McDowall leads the Intercessions, and Monica Long reads the Gospel. The Gregorian chant mass setting (Missa XVI) is sung by Morven Bremner. Music at Communion, ‘Love is the touch of intangible joy’, is sung by Shae Weir with Frikki Walker, organ. Steven McIntyre plays the voluntary at the end of this service, ‘Dialogue sur les grands Jeux’ [Ave Maris Stella, iv] by Nicolas de Grigny, recorded at Dunblane Cathedral.
The video of the service of Holy Communion will also be available on Facebook and YouTube. (The YouTube video might suit those who prefer to watch on a smart TV).
