What’s on
Crib Service
A service for children & the young at heart. All welcome. Starts at 4 pm on Christmas Eve. Music from the children’s choir.
Midnight Mass
Midnight Mass begins at 11.15 pm on Christmas Eve. No need to book. Open to the public. All seats are free.
Christmas Day Service
11 am on Christmas Day. Music from the Cathedral Choir. Carols for everyone. No need to book. Open to the public. All seats are free.

Sunday 21 December 2025 at 5 pm – Nine Lessons and Carols – a Carol Service with music from by the Cathedral Choir and carols for everyone.
Wednesday 24 December 2025 at 4 pm – Crib service for children and the young of heart
Wednesday 24 December 2025 at 11.15 pm – Midnight Mass with music from the Cathedral Choir
Thursday 25 December 2025 at 11 am Sung Eucharist for Christmas Day with more music from the Choir.
Friday 26 December 2025 at 9.30 am – Eucharist for the Feast of St Stephen
Saturday 27 December 2025 at 9.30 am – Eucharist for the Feast of St John the Evangelist at 9.30 am
Sunday 28 December 2025 there will be the usual services at 9 am and 11 am but there will be no service at 5 pm.
Monday 29 December 2025 at 9.30 am – Eucharist for the Feast of the Holy Innocents at 9.30 am, remembering particularly those who have some sad memories or thoughts at Christmas time and remembering all victims of tyranny
Thursday 1 January 2026 at Noon – Eucharist and Blessing of the Diaries for the Feast of the Holy Name
Tuesday 6 January 2026 at 7.30 pm – Choral Mass for the Feast of the Epiphany
Sunday 1 February 2026 at 5 pm – Candlemastide Carol Service at the end of the Christmas Season

9.30 am – Morning Prayer – Eucharist on some Feast Days
