Pentecost
The Feast of Pentecost falls on 23 May 2010. Members of the congregation are encouraged to wear national dress if they have it and come prepared to pray the Lord’s prayer in their own language.
Repairs
From 6 April for about 10 days, there is repair work being carried out in St Mary’s. Weekday services will continue but may be relocated within the building. During this period the west doors will remain closed, and access to the services on Sunday 11th April will be via the South doors. Update: Access will again be via the South doors on Sunday 18th April.
Lent Devotions
Special Lent Devotions take place on Friday evenings in St Mary’s at 6.30 pm. Most weeks the format is Eucharist, Meditation and Compline. On 19 March there will be Choral Evensong for St Joseph.
Candlemas
The Feast of Candlemas will be celebrated with a Eucharist at 0930 on 2 February. The readings and music at Evensong at 6.30 pm on 31 March will also reflect Candlemastide.
